13th & 20th December - Schull Christmas Markets
- we can’t guarantee snow and reindeer, but there will be festive spirit in abundance at these two special Christmas Markets.
Raffles on both days for a great hampers packed full of Schull Market produce & gifts (in aid of Schull Inshore Lifeboat on the 13th and Schull Hospital Patient Fund on the 20th). Special visit by Santa (after Mass).
The Raffle on 13th December raised over €160 for the Schull Inshore Lifeboat - and was won by Tory Joyce - who has generously donated the hamper to the West Cork Animal Group fundraiser in Hackett’s Bar, Schull 5pm - 8pm on Friday 18th December (where it raised another €250! - nice one Tory!).
The Raffle on 20th December for another great hamper filled with lcoal produce raised nearly €220 for Schull Hospital.
Many thanks to everybody who supported us throughout the year!

Schull Country Market gains BordBia approval! - October 2009
Schull Country Market is delighted to be one of the first markets in the country to be approved under the new BordBia ‘Good Practice Standard’.
The Standard requires that a high proportion of the produce sold at the Market is locally sourced or produced, and that the Market is properly organised and run for the benefit of its customers.
Only 5 other markets in County Cork have achieved this award so far - and Schull Country Market is the only one in the area west of Bandon.
We don’t expect anything much to change about the Market - but the approval only serves to confirm the excellent value and variety that you’ll find at Schull Country Market.

Our Market takes place in the beautiful little seaside village of Schull, in the far south-west of County Cork, Ireland. We’re here most Sundays from Easter to Christmas. From time to time we visit a special event or show in the area, and so we are not in our usual location in Schull - for precise details see our Diary page.
