Visit Schull Country Market to choose from an unique selection of locally-produced foods and crafts, all being presented by the people who made them. Pick up some delicious food for a seaside picnic, enjoy a home-baked cake or scone, or take some locally-smoked bacon home for tea!
Schull Market will be open for the 2013 season from March 17th until September 29th - at the Pier Road car park in Schull from 10am - 2pm.
We will be holding a special Easter Market on 31st March - with a cracking Easter Egg Painting Contest!
Everything provided / free entry (no need to shell out any cash to take part!)
- just bring your old clothes to save getting messy.
Eggcellent Prizes - Judging to take place at 1pm - only eggs painted at the Market will be judged.
Come along and join in the fun - don't be 'a-fried'

New Charity CD
by the Shoe String Band
The Shoe String Band have been entertaining visitors to Schull Market since Summer 2009, and now they’ve cut their first CD of trad/folk music - which they’re selling in aid of the West Cork Animal Welfare Group.
Visit the website to hear the music, read all about it, and buy your own copy of the CD.
It makes a great gift, and it’s for a very good cause.
Schull Country Market gains BordBia approval!
Schull Country Market is delighted to be one of the first markets in the country to be approved under the new BordBia ‘Good Practice Standard’.
The Standard requires that a high proportion of the produce sold at the Market is locally sourced or produced, and that the Market is properly organised and run for the benefit of its customers.
Only a small handful of markets in County Cork have achieved this award so far - and Schull Country Market is the only one in the area west of Clonakilty.
We don’t expect anything much to change about the Market - but the approval only serves to confirm the excellent value and variety that you’ll find at Schull Country Market.
